Privacy policy
This policy explains how Colour by Keisha (Suffolk) collects and uses your personal information. Colour by Keisha is a sole trader and is the data controller for the information you share.
Information collected
When you join the waiting list, Keisha collects the details you choose to provide: your name, email address and, if you share it, your phone number, along with any answers you give to the optional survey. When you enquire or book a session, Keisha also collects any notes about your booking, and colour analysis results may be recorded during a session so a personal palette can be prepared for you.
How your information is used
- To manage your booking, including confirmations and reminders, through Fresha, the booking system used by Colour by Keisha.
- To contact you with news about Colour by Keisha, including offers for the waiting list.
- To respond to your enquiries and arrange your session.
- To prepare and send your personal colour palette.
- To keep basic records of bookings for accounting purposes.
You can leave the waiting list at any time by emailing colourbykeisha@gmail.com and your details will be removed.
Legal basis
Your information is processed to take steps at your request before entering into a service, to fulfil that service, and to meet legal obligations such as tax record keeping.
Sharing your information
Your information is never sold. It may be shared with trusted service providers who help run the business, for example the booking system (Fresha), the messaging tools used for enquiries and the waiting list (Instagram and ManyChat) and email tools, and only to the extent needed to provide the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
How long information is kept
Enquiry and booking details are kept only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which they are securely deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to request a copy of the information held about you. To exercise any of these rights, email colourbykeisha@gmail.com.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how your information is handled, please get in touch first so it can be put right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
